In November 1962 the British and French governments signed an official written agreement to develop a supersonic transport. The project achieved many triumphs prior to commercial service and throughout her twenty-seven years of commercial service the Air France and British Airways Concorde fleets achieved many significant milestones.

29-11-1962 -- Britain and France sign a co-operation agreement
11-12-1967 -- The first prototype aircraft is unveiled
02-03-1969 -- The first flight of Concorde
01-10-1969 -- Concorde undertakes her first supersonic flight
21-01-1976 -- Concorde makes her first commercial flight
22-11-1977 -- Concorde undertakes her first commercial flight to New York
21-01-1986 -- Concorde celebtrates ten years of service
07-02-1996 -- Fastest ever commercial supersonic flight
10-04-2003 -- Air France and British Airways announce the retirement
31-05-2003 -- Last commercial Air France flight
24-10-2003 -- Last commercial British Airways flight
26-11-2003 -- Last ever flight Concorde flight, by Concorde G-BOAF
27-11-2003 -- The supersonic dream is over
