Image showing the nose of Boeing 747 B-ABYMThe jumbo jet is one of the most recognisable aircraft every built. Over one-thousand three hundred aircraft have been built over nearly forty years. For the last six years, Boeing 747 D-ABYM has been part of the aircraft collection at the Auto & Technik Museum in Speyer, in the Rheinland-Pfalz area of Germany. Here, visitors to the museum can see D-ABYM on a metal platform, raised approximately twenty-metres above the ground. Visitors are able to walk around her interior, view the cockpit and passenger accomodation and take a walk on the port wing, giving them a unrivalled museum experience.
