Avro Lancaster "City of Lincoln" is Britain's only airworthy Lancaster bomber and forms part of the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The Flight represents a living tribute to the men and women of the Royal Air Force who died in the service of their country.
The Lancaster is lovingly cared for at RAF Coningsby and the aircrew give their time voluntarily throughout the year flying displays of this beautiful aircraft, and during the closed season they ensure the aircraft remains airworthy. Flying at air shows across the country Avro Lancaster "City of Lincoln" delights spectators, young and old, alike.
